Net Advertising to overtake national newspapers

An article in today's Guardian newspaper reports that the internet will account for 13.3% of the £12.2 billion UK advertising market overtaking the national newspapers at 13.2%. Thats a whopping £1.6 billion. Athough the gap could be even bigger because this figure does not include the £1 billion spent on affiliate marketing.
